Over the last 4 years we have averaged a #14 ranked recruiting class.
Interestingly enough we have finished in the top 15 the last 3 years in the polls.
We are about to finish top 5 in recruiting this year…so…
Once this recruiting season is over, I would like to have real discussion about where recruiting should be changed. Everything from how soon a recruit can be hassled(contacted) to pulling scholarships 2 days before signing day
agreed fish. Did you see that Louisville pulled a SC kids scholarship yesterday. Total BS.
Also, they are seriously talking about an early signing period like basektball so kids don’t get hassled all year long.

I saw that. That crap has got to stop. That kid stopped all recruiting because of his commitment to UL. Now he is stuck in a dark period where coaches cant talk to recruits.
He could end up with NO scholarship and no college now.
Key said he made his mind up on Monday morning. Key said he put the names of both schools in a hat and drew the name out best out of five times to make his decision.
To hear Salty tell it you would think there was a real reason he didn’t pick USC.

Cain and McCloud both told Dabo they were going to Auburn for the visit to have some fun. Their LOI are already in. Clemson has got an impressive group of recruits this year. Sakkerliner has a bunch of recruits that bailed due to a non-committal coach on the way out and a &@&$ty season. It won’t be any better next year.

Aww FishBnotrecruitingwell is upset. All 9 Sakkerliner kids that bailed have said Spurriers comments caused them to reconsider and move on.
McCloud, Cain, Wilkins, Fields and many more already have their LOI in to Clemson this AM. No conversations needed, FishBlosingagain, the actions speak for themselves.
You sure do use the word hate a lot. Usually when a person uses a word like that a lot, it is they who harbor those feelings. Sort of like letting out a stinky fart and trying to blame someone else when the “smeller is the feller.”

Yea, its stupid. He will toss average players for taking other visits but won’t do that to his key guys.
I would say that losing 9 commits and still having a top 20 class is pretty good. USC was able to go out and steal some pretty good recruits from other programs. I was not too worried about losing Key. There are several good DE candidates committed already. Key really seemed to like the attention and drama. He is a young kid and will probably work out well for LSU. I think all of the attention goes to their heads and I cannot really fault them for that, they are still just kids at the end of the day. I still think there is another defensive coaching hire coming in the next couple of weeks, but we will have to wait and see. Salty when you have an update on that can you let us all know.
Whammy’s the horse SOS wants to ride. IMO it’s a mistake, good recruiter, terrible DC.
