I have sonar problems again. Im getting power to the gs22 unit but no sonar or radar.The screen comes up and the main frame says systems connected but no sonar. (The gps works fine). No light on the unit so i would assume that its bad. Does anyone know of a way to confirm if the module is gone? Am i the only person who has 3210 problems. Should i replace gs22 module or the whole dang system. I spend to little time fishing to have problems when i do get to go.
Is your transducer good? If the boat is on a trailer turn the system on and reach your hand below the transducer and you should be able to feel the vibrations from the transducer. No vibrations = bad ducer.
the GSD22 converts the sonar signal to something the display unit can understand.
not sure how to diagnose output for the GSD22
if the light isnt on, its not working
if the disdplay is working good, no reason to replace anything except the gsd22.
It works now??? I brushed the phone type connecter with a toothbrush and it seemed to fix it.(for now) Thanks for the input.
