hey chris or others. first trip out last friday the garmin 440s, right at its 2 year mark, cut off while running. i started it again, saw the garmin logo loading screen then it went black. holding the power button 3 seconds turns it off as usual (hear the beep but no display). its right at the 2 year mark and may be covered by warranty (purchased at charleston marine). what’s my next move or other suggestions. the garmin site is less than helpful. thanks mike

They have always been more than helpful each time I called. You may want to try a firmware upgrade first though. You’ll need an SD card to do it, and there’s good instructions on the Garmin website. I have a 440 and I had to upgrade the firmware. Works like a charm now.
