I have waypoints saved on a SD card. How do I go about transferring them to the GPS. It has a spot for a card on the unit but it is much smaller.
I did this on mine. It was Garmin to Garmin. Don’t know if it will work on other brands or between brands? but, You will need a micro SD card and a Micro SD card adapter. Put the SD card with your waypoints into your computer and Drag the files onto your desktop. Then take that card out and insert the micro card installed in the adapter into your computer. Drag the files onto that card. Take that card out, then your waypoint file should be in the micro card. Put micro card in to the small slot on the new unit and Import the waypoints, tracks, etc. Pretty easy but takes some time. Its easier if you have the old unit. Then you just put the Card adapter with the small card in the old unit and export waypoints to the card. Then take the micro card out and insert it into the new unit and import the waypoints into thew new unit. Hope this helps
