I have been trying to figure out optimal sonar settings for the above unit.
I have it set up as split frequency on conventional sonar. The options for that are Chirp and different frequencies. I have one set up on Chirp, the other on 135 khz. I attach a pic showing that there doesnt appear to be any difference in what each screen is showing. I took the pic in shallow water, but I was out in deeper water, 30’ or so, and had the same problem, each screen looked the same.
Can anyone give me any guidance on what I might be doing wrong or what settings i should change? Most of my fishing is 50’ or less.
