I was looking for a chart card for lakes Moultrie and Marion. I have a garmin 441s. West marine has a chart card LakeVu Ultra for $199.00. That is half the price of my unit. Is their anything more basic that doesn’t cost as much?
Most people I know that fish the lakes use Navionics, but they also have Lowrance or Hummingbird. I don’t think they are supported on Gamin.
Unless someone knows of another option, your best bet may be to just search online for a better price on a LakeVu.

I was curious about Garmin after reading your post and got to looking into it. I don’t believe you want the more expensive “Ultra” version for a 441. You want this one:

or $129 at thegpsstore.com

I am not sure how they handle the Santee lakes, but I have the 441s as well which has all the coastal loaded. I just needed Murray, so I went online and downloaded just that lake for $20 onto an SD card. They may not offer that service anymore though.

Do you have a smartphone or tablet? Navionics app is $15 and once you zoom in on the lakes, the full charts load for free…
Found this on Amazon but I can’t really vouch for how good it would be.

Thanks for the info guys. I might start with the card thats available on craigslist and go down the list from there.
