Does anyone have experience with Garmin Panoptix/Livescope here in Charleston? Does it help you find fish? Does it help you see obstacles well in front of the boat when you’re going fast? Thanks
They work best at lower than 8kts of speed.

it is slow speed only, as in moving around with the trolling motor.
we have installed and tested a few, but they have been trolling motor mounted, not transom mounted.
you can easily see pilings and structure 20 or 30 feet in front of the transducer

Buddy has it on his Egret and man the pics are incredible. Mainly used so far for stripers in schools and he’s chunking arty’s at the fisha nd watching the “reaction/bites”
