Hey guys, I recently got a boat rigged with a Garmin finder, and it has the SD card marking reefs/wrecks. Does anyone know if that chip entails the same info as a Maps Unique map? Don’t want to double up if I don’t need to. I’d check the chip myself, but I’m in Cola and the boats in Chas.
The Garmin should just list the wrecks as hazards to navigigation and the public fishing reefs. Never seen a Garmin chart with live bottom marked on it.

You can overlay them on the chart if you are downloading the MU numbers on there. The Plotter may have a feature that allows you to turn off duplicates. Doubtful the Garmin has anywhere near the number of spots the MU does though.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
