As seasoned as she pretends to be I am a bit suprised.!.
I asked a DNR officer that was ticketing a guy for his undersized trout before putting my boat in if the gate would close at 8 due to time change. He said, “gate will still close at 9.”
Coming directly from DNR, combined with the fact that the sign outside gate states it closes at 9, I figured it would close at 9. Came back a little early just in case, only to be greated by a closed gate at 8:22pm.

sounds like the timer was not reset on the gate after the time change.
How were you able to get it open?

Called DNR to let them know what was up. They opened the gate shortly afterwards. They were most helpful this go round.
