I live on sullivan’s and i need to get rid of a bunch of skunk gas. I have two 16 gallon drums, and some 5 gallon gas cans that are all full. Where can I dispose of gas? I know Awendaw dump takes it but thats far.
Also, does anyone have any spare drums/containers I can use to get rid of fuel? I have about 40 gallons to go.

Interesting rigging for catching fish…

Call the fire department. They may be able to help. I know years ago, James Island FD would take old gas to use in their practice fire scenarios. If not them, the recycling center on Romney St. takes old gasoline according to their website.
Do us a favor and let us know if you find the answer to this question. I always have old gas I am trying to get rid of and haven’t found out who will take it. I will give Romney St. and the fire stations a call though.
