gas

Wife has been buying into the hysteria, seeing the lines at the gas pumps. We are all filled up now but it really put her mind at ease when I let her know that we had 30 gallons sitting in the boat that we could siphon off if necessary. Just figured I’d mention that as some people might need gas if it gets bad and not realize they have some sitting in their boats. Good luck to everybody~Dan

The boat is always my back up plan. I make sure I fill it up when a storm like this is heading our way.

Make sure the plug hole and scupper are clean so the boat won’t fill with water and drain into the gas tank! Have had that happen to me, didn’t know that water would replace gas in a full tank!

? Water will displace fuel no doubt… but how did you have water get over the fill point of your fuel?

“Why Bruce?”
