No size to the slam, but I did manage 3 flounder, 2 reds, and 2 trout. One greedy little bluefish too that dined on my minnow then hooked itself.
As for the gator, I was just putting on a new minnow when I heard what sounded like a ticked off Rottweiler on steroids behind me. I scanned for it, but it was not to be seen. The creek was about 20 yards wide and best I can figure it was back in the grass. It growled about 3 or 4 times as I quickly decided it was time to relocate.
