Nice and full of eggs. Great trout fishing for years to come.

That is an amazing fish. Congrats!

Glad to hear that the trout are doing so good this year, as well.

Now, if this wind would slow down a little…

Very impressive trout!!! Even more impressive that you let her go… 20" plus release length is great SPORTSMANSHIP…

Well done sir! Looks like i’ll be chasing that fish around for the rest of my life! (Well, at least in my mind i will) Its cool to know that those beasts are swimming around out there somewhere!

Dadgum !

I wonder when she “broke the surf” to come in and spawn. Maybe I can catch her when she breaks the surf in the other direction. Charleston Harbor is pretty clear at times, so maybe I will sight fish her.

What a beautiful Trout, I have never seen one over about six pounds. Congratulations, great accomplishment!

Congrats Carter, beautiful fish, good to see

Great to see the big ones are out there en mass…That pig will produce a bunch of eggs. Way to go on the release. You have inspired me to do the same here in SC.

Congratulation’s sir, a beautiful specimen. I have chased them for over 50 years. My personal best was a 26 and 25 incher in Corpus Christi, Tx. My biggest in Charleston was 25 inches and 5lb. 13 oz.
Thanks for the release. It must gave been hard to not put her on the wall. Tight lines.

just a “little bit” bigger than the ones I have caught recently

Maybe, just once, someone will call me “sir” without adding, “you’re making a scene.”
