Water is down to 62F and the big girls have their feed-bags on. Just ask Stump! Had a memorable day yesterday with Ralph catching some heavy trout. Look forward to this all year. Lots of big ones out there, please consider letting them swim for the future.
Hot lure was the Z-Man Swimmin Trout Trick in Festivus - a great fall time color, on a Trout Eye jig.
Thanks for the report. I will definitely turn loose all the big ones, you guys have inspired me to try and make up for all the ones I gill netted and sold behind north area tackle shop.
First time ever using a TT was today. Literally caught more reds and trout than I cared to count. Nothing real big but man it was fun. I left them biting at around dark and the tide wasn’t even moving at that point. Great day on the water and thanks for an awesome product that I will definitely be using throughout the winter! Will you be making more of the original purple TT’s?

OK I have never caught anything on the TT with the screw tail. Clearly I am doing it wrong. Super slow? bouncing it off the bottom? I do OK on other soft plastics but despite the raves in the press can’t catch jack on the TT. What’s the trick? Thanks.
marshside - you might be confused on what an original TT is. Its a purple and blue worm with a straight tail. If you look at our website under the Learn tab, I have a video with the technique to fishing the TT correctly. The upper, right fish in the pic above shows an original TT with a 1/8 oz TE jig
RedRover - we might consider funding another “run” of them. I don’t think its a priority for Z-Man (who owns the rights to them) because they have Elaztech TT’s. We are fortunate in that they have allowed us to kinda handle the originals. It depends on demand. They are well known and in demand here in CHS but not so much elsewhere. We also need to see a return on investment
Read the package of the original trout trick and fish it just like that and change your speed up to see what they like. You mostly catch trouts but when a red hits it they slam it. With all honesty t might be the easiest artificial to use that catches fishe consistently.
Also to me the TT imitates a glass minnow, bay anchovy or rain bait. In the cooler months and winter is when I notice these the most. Any bait that has the profile of 1 of those will kill it over the next few months.
