Pushed out to GC and after getting to my spot, looking down at the water I knew it would be a challenging day of fishing. The water was muddy but I was there and after four hrs of nothing ( 2 nice size catfish that hits like a flounder).I decided to run back to bushy as the weather was pushing up for a pour down and got nothing the water was just as bad. Got to the dock and decided to let the cats go and saw this family fishing and asked if they were interested in catfish; before she could answer the little fellow had the cooler at the boat!!! Another good day of fishing.

Well Fellows I’ve been getting lucky these past few weeks with the flatties. Trying to distinguish the difference in a southern and a summer flounder. Guess I’ll stick with the southern for now.

Stumpknocker, I dont consider freshwater cat when I’m fishing saltwater even though I’m doing brackish at most times. No Reds, flounders or trouts is a skunk for me. Haven’t fished for cats in YEARS. But as hot as it is I may do a night thing or two.

I hear that fatrat, hell I never target cats either but always end up with one or two of those slimy punks coming over the rails each year…I am not a fan of them:dizzy_face:
