Anyone know what hours George keeps these days at the bait house? It’s been closed up the last few times I’ve stopped by. I tried both numbers I have for him (364-3534 & 364-2004) and never got an answer.
Has his number(s) changed? Hope everything is OK. If he isn’t keeping regular hours, is there another bait guy in the same area as George’s bait house where a guy can buy bait on a weekday afternoon? I drive through Newberry and Prosperity to get to the ramp.

George usually closes the bait shop at 9:00 AM. But he supplies Station 2, on State Park Rd, so they usually have bait all day.

Thanks Rick. I think I know where you are talking about- the little convenience store on the right about a 1/2 mile before the State Park?
To get bait at Station 2 do you have to have water in your bait tank already or do they have any type of filling device?
Yea that’s where it is… I would bring my own cause there water is usually dirty
