Georgia August report

Ive been doing a little guiding and a ton of fishing the last couple of weeks. Redfishing has been crazy. Ive been catching them mostly on the outgoing tide around oyster mounds covering a ton of ground with the trolling motor. Not really good numbers but quality and mostly sight fished which is how I prefer any day of the week. Natural color zman paddlerz have been working best. Trout seem to be coming in but most still seem to be on the short side. Doa under a popping cork fishing points seem to be the trick. Flood tide fishing has been good lots of tailing fish to target. Tarpon are out pretty thick Ive tried to target them a few times but just cant seem to figure it out.

I’m pretty sure that Jamie could catch a redfish out of my swimming pool, then get a trout and flounder from the mudhole in the front yard :sunglasses:

I got a bunch more shots of him i was doing a guide trip so i had the camera instead of a rod. I wish the camera wasnt dead yesterday tails everywhere in the grass.

Hah! I knew it! From the halos around your head it seems you have elicited help from above… I better start going to church instead of going fishing every Sunday morning.

Yea you’re glowing! Awesome fishing there!
