Georgia Inshore Report

I managed to get out a couple of times this weekend. Saturday we started at 5:30am chunking top water plugs and it didn’t take long 29" red couple casts later had another that was about 25" he got me in the trolling motor and broke me off. As it got later in the morning the tide started to rise and the trout rolled in. We pounded the trout we kept a few that were around 14" threw back the big ones. We had a good day with the flounder also and my dad actually pulled out a triple tail that was a hair over 18". Saturday my dad ended up with a 4 fish slam and I got another 3 fish slam. Pretty good being that we were off the water at 10:30. Today I came to Brunswick to get the oil changed on the foot of my motor and planned on fishing the afternoon but the storms sent me packing after a 2 hours. But I did get one big red with a deformed tail 5 slot reds and 3 flounder. Saturday we fished the first 3 hours of the incoming and today the first 2 hours of the outgoing. Most fish were caught on white and white and green paddle tails.

If you don’t work for the Georgia Dept of Tourism, you should give them a chance to pay you for some of your pics. Nice job.
