I fished the flood tide this past weekend and I guess the weather system that pushed through Saturday messed with the tailers because Saturday only seen 6 Sunday seen 6 and managed 1 before the wind made it a light chop. Me and Bill “bnz” went out Thursday to hunt for some triple tail. We looked for about 3 hours and seen about 20 boats and 2 fish. We did pretty good inshore the trout seem to be on the hunt. We both got on some nice fish I managed 65" slam. Today me and my dad got down to Bruswick early we fished the incoming till lunch. We caught 2 really nice trout his was 21 1/2 and mine was 22 1/2 with a ton of small ones in the mix. He had a slam until the red spit the hook at the boat. We caught a bunch of trout a few reds and a 17" flounder and we even caught a couple of bsb’s on the rocks inshore. All the fish were caught on white strike king paddle tail on a 1/8oz jig head. Top 3 hours of the tide sucked. We did keep some trout good news is the big ones were either males or they already dumped the eggs.
