Maybe so, but after seeing several stripers swim off after the hook broke, I swore I’d never knowingly buy or use another Eagle Claw hook. That’s broke, not bend or straighten out.

I don’t fish “minners”, but I can make a Berry Spoon with a bucktail trailer housing an Owner or Gamakatsu hook.

Good for you. Try a Hopkins with the tinsel tied on…killer.
Also fished blade baits it a spinner on back. If I wasn’t fishing flies(not ice fly) those 2 killed the Winter stripers last year for me.
