This was a result of my second cast off Mother-in-laws dock @ sunset. I have never seen a fish come from so far away to smash a spook. Saw the swirl about 20 feet away followed by the wake…then the crash. That will get you pumped up!
How cool, I gotta get down there early or stay later so I can experience that thrill.

Absolutely DF! Topwater has to be my all time favorite way to fish. To me it is worth getting up @ 4am or making sure my lights work to stay on the water past sunset.
