Insurance money came thru for me after the Hurricane. Short story, Motor is gone, electronics gone, Gel coat needs to be refinished etc.
I have a quote from a local store in the Hilton Head area. Should I just let them do it ? or shop it around to get the best price?
Thanks for the help.

A few years ago I was shopping for a re-power. I don’t want to play favorites so I won’t say any names… but most of the shops around here are about the same price.
I found a place in Florida that was willing to do the job for about $1800 less. Needless to say they price matched it, and I didn’t have to haul it way down there.
They sold my old stuff with only a 10% fee.
You’re crazy if you don’t shop around, and the guys at the shop know it. You wouldn’t buy the first car you looked at, would you?
