Getting rid of old gas...

Any ideas on methods to get rid of 80+ gallons of old gas that has been sitting in a tank for almost 3 years. It was not stabilized. I’m looking for safe and inexpensive methods.

Thanks for the help

also have heard of people mixing a few gallons at a time,5 or so in their cars with out any issues.

some old lawn mowers will run on it straight or mixed a little new gas. Hell I bet my 1985 Johnson 115 would burn it.

You need to drain it out and take it to the County recycle center. The one downtown Charleston will only take gas that you can leave in your own containers. You will need to take it to the one off Bees Ferry Road. Unless you have a throw-away 80 gallon jug. Not many other options.

perhaps in a dual fuel coleman lantern or stove.

I’ll take a few gallons to use on the fire pit if you think it will light off.
