Gheenoe Owners

Interested to see if anyone around here is running a gheenoe. I’ve been researching them online, particularly the Low Tide 25. I’d be using it primarily for sight fishing with a fly rod. Obviously any kind of microskiff is going to have its limitations, but I’m wondering how these rigs handle the occasional big boat wake in the ICW. There’s a ton of info on microskiff, but I don’t think most of those guys deal with the wakes we do. The price is right and the turn around time on the build is quick. I’ve just seen very few around here. Any input is appreciated.

Jerms runs one. Great little rig. I was very impressed with its stability

Saw your other post first. I run a Classic. If you want to come check it out sometime I’d be happy to do that. LT25 is a bit bigger than my Classic, though.

Jerms -

I may take you up on that. Going to be out of town for the next couple weeks, but I will shoot you a PM when I get back. By the way, I found your build posts and that is a sharp looking little rig.
