Wind was laid but still had to run from a storm, was able to find clean water on the in coming
Is 15 the limit these days?
Good job tt . I’m going to move down there with you. I had days like that before they moved the Yorktown in and made Shem creek a no wake zone
Gigging reports only hurt the fishery…

Nice job tybee. Looking good!!
I prefer rod and reel for the pull and specifically trying to catch them.
I live right down the river from you. I caught one at Doc’s Drop like the one on your cooler.
Those big fish are females…7 year life span and about 20 inches at that age.
Nice grocery getting though…shooting fish in a barrel when the conditions are just right.
FWIW, every legal southern flounder in SC is a female
Whats up with the flat top on your grill?

Who you callin yahoo, yahoo? Just cause it says tybee in the screename doesnt mean i assume he’s fishing there. We’ve got all kinds of aliases from NC, TX, and even ohio on cf.com. I dont expect a flounder report to be from Ohio though. Hwilcox=LA though, ive got that figured out
All flounders here over 14" are females? Been here all my life and gigged many years but never knew this.
You can’t catch fish on a dry line

Pretty sure, i remember reading some paper that said males were very rarely over 10 or 12 inhes
There’s no shortage of wannabe fish cops here!
Im kinda split on this. Gigging in the gulf with thousands of square miles of shallow sound is different than gigging in small inlets. I like to catch them on a rod and reel and with 10 boats stabbing at everything they see in our cove in MI, I can’t believe its a good thing.
