Gizzards

We have several boats headed to Cherokee Lake next week and we are looking for someone who has gizzards to take with us. If you know of someone please let me know by way of message board or 803-463-3974. I live in Lexington but would be willing to travel 50 or so miles to get them.

South Carolina Gizzards don’t work so well in Tennessee … nor do Tennessee Gizzards work so well in South Carolina …

… it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish !!!

Is this what you are looking for?

Good luck. I used to guide on Cherokee for stripers. I quit because it was too far to drive (I lived in NC) for two stripers and too many fishermen. I could give you some good spots to fish. also places to catch shad… What part you fishing?

BOB

Hey Bob thanks for the response. We are staying right outside Morristown at a place called Park View Cabins which near Hamblin County Park marker #20. We have gone to Cherokee for several years but always in late Nov. This year we went the last of Feb. and it was OK fishing wise so now we are going on Mar. 31 for a couple of days. Any help is always appreciated. Thanks

Palmetto Angler in McCormick has had some nice looking gizzards and Lake Hartwell Outdoor Center has them. LHOC gets there gizzards from Tennessee if I'm not mistaken. I don't know how healthy they will look after driving that far with them sloshing around in the bait tank though.
