Glassmaster boats

Does anyone know anything about these boats

if your getting one for free, it’s great. But i would not spend my hard earned money on one.

There are too many great deals on premium boats right now to bother with the “economy” boats.

what’s you budget? and what are you using the boat for mostly? It will help others give you ideas too.

Glassmaster makes a decent boat. Dont know much about them but I know that they have 100% wood free construction which, to me is a very good attribute. Have never heard anything bad about them really. I have a good friend in my squadron that has a old glassmaster trihull ski boat…that thing rocks!

Floater I saw several on a boat trader and thought the price was good. I figured that they werent a really good boat from what the prices were.
This would be my first and last boat at age 68, 69 in March. I cant see sinking a lot into payments at my age.
I would use for inshore fishing, doesnt have get in real shallow water.
Looking for a 17-19 FT that would fish in rivers, harbor, jetties, and creeks and shrimping. I am looking at used b/c I want things like maybe t-top, fishfinder, gps, trolling motor and mainly storage. All of these arent a neccesity. I travel Beaufort to fish with my brother and his friend. I’m not always happy fishing with his friend so this is a reason to get a boat.

if you can pick one up for the right price, go for it. though if you want something on the less expensive side, i’d look at sea pros (or something similar). there are a ton of them around and can be had relatively cheaply.

From now thru Jan. is the best time to buy in my experience… people don’t like their boats when it’s cold.

Daddy had a 72’ model, 19 and half feet, tri hull. 307 Chevy with a Rochester 4 bbl. If you had five dollars you could ski about two hours. Occasionally. it’d get vapor lock but a ski belt over the carb would cure that. Ended up giving it to the mechanic who had done the repairs. (What a sucker) Wood stringers, wood transom. NO idea what the modern ones are like.

I’m so excited I can barely cope,
I sizzlin’ like an isotope.
