Glock 27 Gen 3 compact in .40 SW. Like new with only about 200 rounds through it. Great shooting pistol, I just do not use enough to keep it. Perfect for concealed carry. Comes with Trijicon night sights mounted. Blackhawk snap in hip holster. Box, papers, etc. I have about $850 in it but will sell for $700.
If you have a CWP I will sell right out, but if not, I will ask that we go to a gun shop and get the NICS check done. Just to cover my a$$. I have a shop in town that will do it for $25.
I know this won’t go over well but if you paid $850 for what you’re trying to sell, you got taken brother.
I can definitely appreciate your CYA concerns but $25 for a NICS check? It’s a 10-15 minute process (filling out the 4473 and calling NICS, as long as you don’t get “delayed”). If that’s the going rate, I need to get back into the firearms business and just perform NICS checks for private sales.
You might want to get comfortable with this pistol.

God bless the “ignore” function.
I appreciate your input, but the lowest MSRP for a new Glock G27 that I have seen is $499. I paid about $600 brand new. Maybe not the cheapest, but I did not get ripped off. Check around. That is if you can find one in stock. I know that you can get them cheaper in some of the online sites, but this on is in hand. That’s one of the reasons I bought it. They’re not the easiest to find. With that, get the Blackhawk SERPA concealment holster at $50, Trijicon night sights installed for $100, extra magazine extensions for $20 as well as a couple boxes of premium personal protection rounds and this is a fair price for what I have for sale. I might have even left a little room in there for negotiations, too. Get one of the online deals from God knows where and see what you end up with after all of the shipping and fees that they tack on. This is a one owner pistol with very low use, no blemishes and some great extras.
All that being said, if there is a cheaper one out there, have at it.
As far as the NICS check goes, that’s just common sense if you are selling a handgun to someone that you do not know. I don’t set the cost of that, I just know a local shop that has an FFL who said they would do it for $25. If it can be done cheaper, it’s fine with me. If someo
Fair enough. I mistakenly said what everyone else that reads this post will think. That’s my bad. I don’t believe anyone was trying to muddy the water. I wouldn’t want to see anyone taken advantage of like you were (you paid $600 for a Gen 3 Glock, you got hosed). I have more years than I care to admit to in the firearms industry so I don’t need to “check around” to know you what a brand new Gen 3 Glock sells for or what a brand new Blackhawk Serpa CQC sells for (side note…yours isn’t brand new anymore). Granted, we don’t know if the Trijicon night sights are standard or HD’s. At that price, I would guess standard (they usually sell for around $125 while HD’s are around $150). But hey, it’s yours to establish what you think it’s worth.
That said, you actually never mentioned the “extra magazine extensions” and the “couple of boxes of premium personal protection rounds” in your original post so now that you have mentioned, hopefully that helps a little.
Just to clear up any other questions or skepticism, I found my original receipt. It seems like we have some experts in the crowd.

Again, I knew when I got the G27 that I was paying a little more for it. I certainly did not get taken advantage of nor is that what I am looking to do here. I don’t mind paying a little more at the local small gun shop. It helps them out too.
You can find them cheaper in the big stores and even online. That is if you can find one.
All for $700.
This is a good and fair deal on a sweet rig that I have picked up twice.
If anyone would like to ask me any other questions please PM or text and I will be very happy to talk.

For the record, I wasn’t skeptical of what you said you paid for the firearm in question. I would however like to thank you for proving you most definitely got hosed on said firearm. You can buy Pearce magazine extensions from the Glock store for $10. You can buy that holster for $30 to $35 anywhere. That’s not a bad price for the Trijicon sights and Polycase ammo but a little high on the Liberty ammo though.
If it is such a fine firearm, why are you selling it? Why don’t you “use” it enough?
Hey Chumking. I travel for my work so I don’t really carry that much and when I do I have others. Just hate to see it sitting in my gun room when someone else could enjoy it.
You know, maybe he’s naive. Definitely should’nt have replied trying to justify. Just let it go.
You’re right 7cs, probably. But it is almost fun at this point. This post is so far gone from even selling my Glock, at this point I might as well relish in the discussion. CF at it’s finest.

As someone in the industry now…and I hate to add on the thread, but you won’t sell that gun for that price. If you do, it will be to someone who doesn’t know any better unfortunately.
