Got an early start and the gnats were tearing me up. No wind anywhere. But still managed 3 Reds and a few rat trouts.

Wind picked up after a few hours with out going tide no gnats and I managed another out of the slot Red. Had to get back to the house but the bite was awesome. Fast pushing out going tide and I missed quite a few fish with that wind in one direction and the tide in the opposite. Beautiful weather all-N-all

Nothing beats a Buff for gnats (plus long sleeves and pants) IMO

I like the combination of what Simon AND Optiker recommends…Buff and long sleeves (can’t do the pants because I’m hot natured) and ALWAYS have a bottle (or two) of No Natz on hand and you’re good to go. Not a sales pitch either. No Natz is truly the best gnat/flying nuisances deterrent I’ve ever used…and it DOES work.
No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.
