when you don’t play a ranked team all season, it’s pretty easy to go undefeated.
Is it? Asking for a friend.

Pretty sure they didn’t make the playoffs?

Pretty sure “making the playoffs” wasn’t part of the question.

No need to “bolster” my point when it’s the truth. UCF is a D1 school and completely “relevant” to the CFP era. No one asked which undefeated teams have competed in the current D1 CFP. No one asked anything about any of the recent playoff teams, as a matter of fact.
Besides, D-II and D-III schools have their own (different) playoff system and have had it far longer than the current D1 playoff system. To mention them in this discussion bolsters nothing and isn’t relevant. Thanks for the pro tip though.

That was the worst call I have ever seen. The ball was in his left hand and out of bounds when the ball came loose. It went 2-3 feet to the left of the pylon. Everyone that watched that game knows that Clem got out played… Gonna be hard to make that up when playing cupcakes the rest of the season as every game will be referenced/juxtaposed back to when they played a real team…

If things keep going as they are, CU is going to be 0-3 against the spread this year. Some will say “Ill take the win over covering the spread” but think about this…With the ACC being down this year, CU is going to have to start hammering schools in their non-conference games to make an impression on the CFP committee come voting time because as of right now, there aren’t any “quality wins” for them within their conference schedule.

Yep, it is pretty sad when the best competition remaining on your schedule appears to be SCar…

I guess if I would’ve said something about “hope” or hoping your comment may have been relevant or at least less confusing.

BC is the best team left on Clemson’s regular season schedule. Sakkerliner is about like Wake Forest.
Going to need that Marshall game to get bowl eligible.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I think BC and Syracuse are neck and neck. They’ve both put up a bunch of points and they’re fairly close in the “strength of schedule” rankings (whatever that’s worth) but neither of them have faced a team with the talent of CU yet. I just don’t think the ACC has the horses for CU to rely on their conference schedule to bolster their chances when the CFP committee starts making their assessments. Granted, it’s still early and some other team in the ACC might emerge as a legit contender but outside of CU, I just don’t see it. As of yesterday, the talking heads have the ACC at a 1% chance of getting a team into the CFP this year and we all know that “1%” is Clemson.

What about FSU…Oh never mind

Wouldn’t surprise me to see 3 SEC teams in the CFP this year. The other prolly will be OSU.
