Going with the tide ??

I assume it is best to go with the tide out and then when the tide changes just let it take you back to where you started. Is it tough trying to paddle against the tide?

I depends on the wind, tide, the yak you’re paddling, and your skill level. Some folks find paddling against the tide to be pretty daunting.

I never would let going with the tide dictate my fishing spots, you could be pretty limited

It can be tough if you paddle a barge like I do. That being said I usually paddle against the tide to get to my spots at the time I want to fish them. Just how it works out usually. If you are landing fish it’s an easier paddle haha.
