the batteries on the ole sea pro are dead dead. no charging will revive them. anyone know where the best place to get 2 marine batteries are?
i have not looked to see if they are different or the same. they are wired in parallel, so i assume they are both cranking batteries. help or advice appreciated.
I’m not quite sure where it is but interstate batteries in north charleston has the rebuilt ones for really cheap, like I cant remember exactly where it was but I did a buy couple a while ago for the farm equipment.
check with the interstate store. they usually have blems. if not then check with us here in cola. we keep good deep cycle and cranking marine blems. they run right at $50 plus tax. they are not rebuilt . they are just maybe have a nick on them or something that keeps them from being sold as new.
I bought a deep cycle blem. from the Interstate store (Shop Rd.?) in Columbia a couple of yrs. ago for $40. It was brand new and I never could find the blemish. That’s where I’ll go from now on.

I was talking to my buddy about the interstate batteries. They are not blems but somewhat rebuilt. He says that they refill the ones they get back with acid and service them, not sure if this is 100 % correct but either way bought a 950 cranking amp for the tractor and it has lasted me more than 2 years, I paid 30 dollars for it, my friend also bought one for his wife’s car around 3 years ago and it’s still working great. So if your looking for a good cheeeaaap battery go to this interstate battery off of rivers road.
