Good day near shore bull reds/black drum

Put my faith in the weather forecast and it paid off today. Headed out to a sloppy and still blowing n/ne flow. Got set up on a piece of near shore reef and the 1st of 12 or so redfish was on. Made the judgement call and Ruth ride out worth it! Soon after scored my personal best black drum. Heavy toad! From there we got re positioned on aapnother piece of reef and it was on. Tons of bsb’s, whote grunts and the bull Reds were on fire! Great day on the water. Can’t wait to hit it again tomorrow. Finger mullet I had frozen from mullet run was the ticket for the Reds…everything else ate shrimp. No bites what so ever on blue crab.

very nice fish;;; congrats!!:sunglasses::sunglasses:

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Awesome! I may go tomorrow but I will stay closer to shore

I may not be a smart man, but I know a butt wipe when I see one
