Fished the upper ashley yesterday. Didn’t get to my spot until around noon. Started fishing the rising tide with mm on carolina rigs. Tossed them near the banks and the bite started. First fish was a 22 inch flathead cat. Same spot ended up producing a 19 inch blue cat, and 3 reds ranging from 21 to 26 inches. One red was also tagged. All caught in the first 3 hours of rising tide. Managed to get rained on for about an hour, but for a 4 hour trip I got lucky!
