Ditto on the nice day, we left HHI–stopped at the Ross to pick up some live bait and headed to the North Hole area. Caught 5 Red Snapper all over 10#, Triggers, Big BSB. Used up all our 48 live baits so the divers went down and came up with 3 beutiful Hogs and 7 Spinny Lobster–lagest 10.4#s.
On the way home we had a Fly By from a Fighter jet–he dipped down to say HI and then put the Coals to it. NICE.
The Divers said that the Red Snapper were thick but they didn’t shoot any—they consintrated on Hogs and Spinnys. They also had a 400# 6-8 foot Sand Tiger Shark following them around so one of the guys poked him/her in the Nose with his spear gun and He finally swam off.
Don’t know who says Red Snapper are depleted because the divers say their thick as Sand Nats.
