good Good Friday w/pics

RightRx fished the ledge out of Gtown. It was as slick as is gets. Went 2/6 on the Wahoo. Boated a 54# and 30#. Red and black and pink and white were the ticket. We could actually see the Wahoo finning on the surface! Stopped and got some bass and pinkies on the way in. Highest water temp was 73.5 deg.

Awesome day!

Being superstitious is bad luck.

Very cool. Nice reports guys.

Way to go guys. You dont see conditions like that often! Thanks for the report.

glad you posted about the finning hoo! I saw 4 or 5 finning around us in 150’, could not get them to hit some jigs we threw at them. the viz had to be 60’ at the surface but you could plainly see their stripes as they swam along.

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Nice catch!

What is with the green noodles in the gunnel next to the hand rail?

The destiny was out there with ya , but showed up late to the party it seems as we put lines in all fish i heard about on the radio were already caught.Early bird good job guys we saw the skeletons when we arrived at Gtown to clean our bottom dwellers. We came in late after dark as i just couldn’t bring myself to leave that slick ocean. We bagged a bonita and enjoyed all the wildlife out there for awhile then headed to vermillion and loaded up on b-liners and had amberjack all over us for hrs. wrestled some big grouper w/ only broke line and a broke fin nor pole to show for em.
Moved to CJ davidson and loaded up on Black sea bass. culled thru hundred at least to get 10. Some days it just doesn’t matter as Good friday was just that so bueatiful. Turtles, mola and dolphin everywhere. Also saw a monster hammerhead swimming around, thought about trying to catch it then thought better of that crazy idea. Maybe a couple of weeks and mahi will be crashing the party. Again great job on the wahoo.

HDGB- Those two worn out youngsters we saw come in as we were leaving must have been yours. They were beat!

Scott- They put those around the center rigger when we take it down to store while running.

Ya juice my son and his friend, they were bored all morning trolling but wore em out scratching the bottom and sorting thru the smalls to get a few keepers for the fryer. They probably caught 50-60 fish apiece and had a good time! They enjoyed the assortment of wildlife out there and were tripped out by the huge Mola Mola
