Just wanted to post up a thank you to a James Island local for taking a newbie Sheepshead fishing.
While at Charleston Angler yesterday morning talking about techniques for catching sheepshead a local angler offered to take me with him.
I was stunned, but jumped on the opportunity.
An hour or so into fishing he hooked what was by his words the largest sheepshead he had ever caught.
11.6 lbs it was massive.
It’s nice to know that there are still folks out there willing to share their experience with others.
