Finally my bud moved back to Charleston (we all have em, the kind of friends that will fish anytime). We were on the H20 by 7am. Threw the net for an hour or so to load up on mullet. It had been awhile since we’d fished, I threw the net on plenty of bait, caught on some oysters.Unfortunately hit reverse on the boat and gravity took over within 2 seconds I had a salt shower. Now to the fishing. Hit a dock…Within 5 minutes rods doubled over and we had 2 reds quick. The bite was on @ slack tide which is strange for this spot, or any. 3 slots, 2 around 30…and a small black. Had four or five that broke us off after ripping drag, prob 35 incher. Rapped us around docks, oysters, even in the middle of a creek thats all sand bottom. Better than work I guess. All caught on cut Mullet
Sounds like you had a good day congratulations
