Good Saturday fishing

Had a great day yesterday (Sat.) w/ Capt. Rich of Reel Deal Charters. The wife & I went to learn more about inshore fishing and had a fantastic trip w/ Capt. Rich. Caught 11-12 trout, 5 sheephead, 4 flounder and 2 reds. Had one monster red breakoff and, overall, just had a lot of fun. Learned a lot and thought the Captain and 1st mate Strachan were first-rate. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to learn more about inshore fishing. I’d have to go fishing 10-12 times to learn what I did yesterday and lving 2 hours from the coast that would be expensive. Picture of nice trout my wife caught and the keepers.

Nice Bag. What area were yall fishing? Bait?

I don’t want to give the Captain’s secrets away, but we put in at Remley’s and were probably never more than 2-3 miles from the landing at any one time. Fished with all live bait-blue crabs, shrimp, menhaden and fiddlers for the sheepheads. He was definitely prepared. Shrimp seemed to be the bait of choice. We got the most bites on all species (with the exception of the sheephead) on the shrimp.
