Left SI ramp at 5:30 in the drizzle. Looked like it would be a moist day, but cleared up nice offshore. HOT but a steady breeze. Fished a wimpy weedline in 135 feet, 83 degree temp. Finished with five nice bulls, one hoo (lost a second at the boat) and a “first time” sail. (darn fish jumped right in the boat) All caught on skirted ballyhoo. Pretty good day for August!
PS: the big fella declined his post release swim . . . I didn’t argue

Was a good saturday,fished the Belle Isle wahoo tourney,caught 3 hoos YFT 17.3 lb, a gaffer,1 for 3 on sails,multiple cutoffs.2.5 case of beer,1 gallon of Vodka…Good Time!!!
