Good Small Digital Cameras?

You can’t do it all with a cell phone - - what are some good smaller digital cameras, please? Water resistant, make videos? I don’t want to take a $600 camera on the boat, need something $$smaller but takes great pictures. Thanks.

I have a Pentax WG-1. I like it, good to 33’ and small and easy to use.The only thing I would add is a cover over the lens when it is off.

I recently bought an Olympus TG 820 and have been real happy with it so far. It’s waterproof to 33’,shock proof, crush proof, freeze proof (so they claim) and takes real nice pictures and video. Was just under $300 on Amazon at Christmas.

I bought a Nikon CoolPix at a pawn shop for $20. Takes great pictures and if it gets ruined or stolen, I am only out $20. And easy to replace and any local pawn shop.

What about a gopro? Seems reasonably priced and takes phenomenal video and pics.

Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.

I still use an old Pentax WP. Works great and has many different modes for all types of photography. When I need a new one, I will get the W90 or whatever is the latest Pentax.

I plan on living forever, so far so good
