Jennifer, Jakie, and I had a nice day pulling early and downrodding late. We ended up with 12 keepers and 2 largemouth. Fish were caught in as little 8 feet early and as deep as 45 mid-day in a lower lake creek. Water temp. was 72-75 and the wind was kickin’ hard NNE. Probably around a 30 fish day counting throwbacks and gar. They had a great time! Wish my 14 year-old Robert had gotten out of bed… Typical teenager:)

That’s a nice assortment and a day like that is sure to put smiles on all the faces. Looks like the wind will finally die down for the next few days.

Hopefully, the doctor will get me back on my feet before too long. As it is, I’m not even allowed to walk out on the dock without an escort. I guess I know what it feels like to be on “house arrest”. When I get better I might want to try fishing with you for the stripers. Especially, if you do all of the work, and I just wind in fish like those.
