Yeah we were in that area. This fish was further north. We fish ab once a week together. In our last four outings we’ve had trout around that same size landed. All were caught in different areas. This year has been good as far as large trout. Def use different tactics. There are many people who will kill fish this big bc they don’t know any better. All the main creeks and waterways get hammered daily. I try to get away from people which is getting harder to do.
I caught a 26" gator a couple of weeks ago and let her go after photos. I appreciate your catch and release practice very much.
