Went out on the yak yesterday. Was looking for some shrimp for bait and wasn’t successful on the outgoing tide. Water temp cooled off so they may have scooted to the harbor til it warmed back up. Ended up fishing the bottom with live finger mullet on a carolina rig looking for reds. Instead, I went 5 for 5 for trout on first 5 casts. I don’t think that has ever happened. Hooked 3 or 4 more and the bite died when low tide went slack. Fun day though.

Heading out to paradise tomorrow morning to try and catch some trout. Cant wait to get back on the Wando

All fishermen are liers except me and you and I’m not sure about you.

My stepdad hit the same creek today and said he lost count around 20. He crushed on the incoming around 8am.
