I had a discussion with my congressman’s office today regarding the VMS and the MPA closure proposals. I was really impressed that they called me back based on my email several weeks ago. I had a very sympathic ear and appear to be just as concerned as we are. I must say, I have never had a congressman respond in person to me, so this ia a very good sign.
I would strongly encourage everyone to keep on with the emails and correspondence to their representatives. Together we can accomplish this. We need to stay strong and focused.

Wonder how you got 382 still? I used my “Autofill Option” that used my primary addess in Ga. Will do again at the Beaufort address in wifes name.

Thanks to everyone who signed the petition and thank you for contacting your Congressman jczc2414. We need to put pressure on the council from several different angles. A friend in California showed their Congressman my public comments for Amendment 30. He said he was going to take the comments back to Washington and see what he can do about stopping VMS. I have been in touch with my Congressman’s office as well. We need to see if they will write an official letter opposing VMS signed by as many members of Congress as we can get.
