Saturday me and some friends fished around the 226 hole. We picked at the dolphin all day never really got into them, had a few cutoffs. My wife caught her first dolphin, the look on her face was priceless. I just can’t seem to leave the house without looking back to find her sitting in the boat saying where are we going lol. Had one to just about spool a 9/0 before we got cut off we are thinking it was a sloberknocker of a WHOOOOO.

Sunday we fished up north ran about 35mph out just south of the SW banks. We picked at the dolphin there also, had a double on and got them both in the boat. It was nice to be able to get back out there again and pull 8 lines due to the good weather. Sunday afternoon weather got nasty for a bumpy ride back to the hill with a cooler full of dolphin.

Have not seen your posts in while. Glad you were able to fish on Sunday. I thought that it got a bit choppy on the way back too.

BTW, I see you selling your 21’ HS now. If I remember right you’ve had it for almost 6-7 years, right? Anyway, I wish you a pleasant boat upgrade if you are :smiley:.

Lets just say that I have been up under the radar still fishing though. How do you like that 23 GW. I bet that was a change for you. Let’s get together sometime and go get them. Man I haven’t seen any post from any of the “older guys” like KATATAK or the 35’ bertram that Warren H. had or the convertable that Grady had. I guess those guy’s are still fishing. I am selling my boat looking to get a KAT boat about a 22’ or 26’.
