Greetings all. I’ve had a Drifter since the middle of the summer and enjoy fishing out of it as often as I can. Do any of you have any good places to fish around here? I usually put in at the Pitt St pier, or up on Sullivans Island by the fort, or on the intracostal side of sullivans at station 23 (i think).

Try Moores landing (or whatever they call it now). It is a pain to put in but you are right across from some great flat. Go a 1/4 mile north and enter right by the shell bank. I had my ocean yak back there this spring and summer
I live over on James Island and Sunrise Park is a cool place. I have launched downtown at the south end of Waterfront Park. This makes for a quick trip over to Castle Pinckney. My last trip was from the boat landing at 526 on the Ashley River down to Brittle Bank Park.
Can you give me some good places to fish in a kayak from now until end of January. I live in Rock Hill and will come down a couple of times. Last June we launched on Isle of Palms and camped a Capers. Did well in the grass for reds.
