Goodbye to friend, great fisherman - HiTider

This past Saturday was the memorial service for HiTider in a standing room only service. It was simple, a few prayers and a little bit of scripture and his fraternity brothers, former coworkers, friends and neighbors reliving “Paul” stories and about how he loved to fish.

HiTider was a long time member of the East Cooper Fishing Club and other clubs around the Low Country. I understand he passed away while undergoing a heart valve replacement on the 20th.

We lost a good friend and great fisherman. If Heaven has fishing, he’s up there bottom bumping on a drift.

Paul…you were one of a kind!

I’ve never met Paul but he sure did touch a lot of lives in the fishing community. RIP Paul.
