GoPro Cameras

I’ve always wanted to film my hunts, and am in college so money is just not there for a nice recording equipment. I recently accepted an internship in Texas where I’ll be working on a hunting/wildlife ranch for the summer. I have been told by my boss that I will have plenty of hogs and other predators to go out and shoot, and that I’ll be in some real pretty country so I am wanting to get something I can record my experience on. A few buddies of mine have been using gopros for hunting turkeys and their videos look really nice. I will most likely use it attached to my hat, and also thinking on getting an attachment for my bow. Just wondering if anyone on here has used these cameras and had suggestions on which ones to buy.

The only downside to the gopro is lack of zoom. With such a wide angle what your shooting has to be fairly close to get good video. I always thought they were better for fishing. Just my 2 cents.

diddo what danyelfell said. Great for up close and personal, but we recorded some duck hunts this past year and the ducks are just a speck coming by. In every other way it is a great investment.
