havent been on the forum in a couple years as I sold my last boat and was getting some things straightened out before getting back into looking for a newer/bigger boat.
old boat was a little 15’6" runabout and was the only thing I’ve ever driven aside from occasionally driving my neighbor’s 21’ wellcraft on decent days so this will be a huge learning curve for me.
anyway, went to the boat show this past weekend and ended up with a 21’ sea skiff by carolina skiff from hankel. will finish up the paperwork later this week when the wife is able to get off work at a decent enough time to allow it lol.
time to get serious about learning the ins/outs of boating, navigating, and fishing. I grew up sheepshead fishing and shrimping so at least I’ve got those two covered. You guys will be seeing a LOT more of me as I’ll probably ask every dumb question you never knew someone could ask about boating and fishing haha.
once we get it we are going to get more acquainted over the next week in the wappoo cut and stono before taking it to the backside of kiawah for mothers days with my mom.
only pic I have is from the boat show while we were putting down the deposit.

around every bend theres the promise of a treasure that can only be caught and seen in a blink.. and in your minds eye..and sometimes if youre lucky..in a picture..its there for just a minute...then gone..but hopefully once youve seen it it will remain in your heart forever. Theres nothing like the "Smell" and sounds of the creek. Its not just one thing that makes it familiar..its all of it.
